Vivo Y21 5G officially launched in Nepal with a 6500mAh battery and Dimensity 6300 chip

Vivo has introduced the Vivo Y21 5G variant in Nepal, expanding its Y series. The new 5G model features a huge 6500mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a large 120Hz screen. So, in this article, I will discuss everything you need to know about the Vivo Y21 5G, including its specs, features, availability, and official price in Nepal.

Vivo Y21 5G overview:

Design and Display

To begin with the design, unlike how the Vivo Y21 5G shares the name with Vivo Y21 4G from back in 2021, the 5G model is significantly different. The new phone features a glass front, a metal-matte frame, and a composite plastic back design to resist fingerprints. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and measures 8.39mm thick and weighs 209g, making it larger and heavier than its predecessor, thanks to the massive battery.

Additionally, it features an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, SGS 5-star drop resistance, and military-grade durability certification, making it ideal for wet or rough environments. The phone is available in “Sunrise Gold” and  “Voyage Black” color options.

Moving on to the display, the Vivo Y21 5G features a 6.74-inch IPS panel with 1600 x 720-pixel resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate, offering snappy app switching and smooth scrolling. It delivers 83% NTSC color coverage for vibrant visuals and a high-brightness mode up to 1200 nits, making it suitable for outdoor use.
