Ultima Boom Sleek Specifications

The specifications are based on Ultima's current product listing and available Nepal-market specifications.

Design and Build

The Boom Sleek features an in-ear design intended to provide a secure fit during everyday use. Its compact charging case makes the earbuds easy to carry in a pocket or bag.

Ultima offers the Boom Sleek in four colors: black, blue, mint, and white, giving buyers several options depending on their preferred style.

The earbuds also carry an IPX5 water-resistance rating, which provides protection against water splashes. The rating should not be interpreted as making the charging case waterproof, as the case has no equivalent IP rating specified.

Audio Quality

The Boom Sleek uses AAC and SBC Bluetooth audio codecs and is designed around Ultima's “Supreme Sound” audio tuning.

While the manufacturer does not currently specify the driver size on its official product listing, third-party specifications list the driver as unspecified as well.

For everyday listening, the earbuds are intended for music, YouTube, podcasts, calls, and other common smartphone audio activities.

Environmental Noise Cancellation

The Boom Sleek includes a four-microphone setup and environmental noise cancellation for calls. The microphone arrangement is designed to help with voice pickup and reduce environmental interference during calls.

It is worth noting that the Boom Sleek should not be confused with ANC earbuds. The available specifications describe environmental noise cancellation rather than active noise cancellation for music listening.

Gaming Mode and Low Latency

For mobile gaming, the Boom Sleek includes a low-latency mode with latency of up to 50 ms according to the available specifications. This is designed to reduce the delay between what happens on the screen and what you hear through the earbuds.

This can be useful for casual gaming, particularly for games where audio timing matters.

Battery Life

Battery life is one of the main highlights of the Boom Sleek.

Each earbud can provide up to 6 hours of playback, while the charging case brings total playback to up to 40 hours under the stated usage conditions.

Actual battery life can vary depending on factors such as volume level, Bluetooth connection, calling and gaming usage.

Bluetooth 5.4 Connectivity

The Ultima Boom Sleek uses Bluetooth 5.4, providing a modern wireless connection for compatible smartphones, tablets, and other devices.

The earbuds are compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

They also support Swift Pair, which is designed to make pairing with compatible devices more convenient.

Ultima Link App

One of the useful features of the Boom Sleek is support for the Ultima Link companion app.

The app allows users to customize aspects of the earbuds, including audio settings and touch controls. It also provides access to the earbuds' gaming mode and a Find My Device feature.

The app is available for Android and iOS, making the Boom Sleek more customizable than basic wireless earbuds that don't have companion software.

Find My Device

The Boom Sleek includes a Find My Device feature through the Ultima Link app.

This can be useful if you misplace one or both earbuds. The feature can help locate the earbuds by triggering an audible sound, according to the available product specifications.

Is Ultima Boom Sleek Worth Considering?

The Ultima Boom Sleek is positioned as an affordable everyday TWS earbud rather than a premium ANC model. Its combination of Bluetooth 5.4, 40-hour total battery life, IPX5 water resistance, app support, and low-latency mode gives it a broad set of features for its price category.

At the current official Nepal price of Rs. 1,899, it sits below Ultima's Aura ANC and several of the company's more feature-heavy earbuds.

For someone looking for inexpensive wireless earbuds for music, calls, videos, and casual gaming, the Boom Sleek provides a feature-focused option in Ultima's Nepal lineup.
