Ultima Atom 720 Specifications

Some current product listings show slightly different battery figures, so the table above follows the specifications most consistently reported for the original Nepal model.

Design and Build Quality

The Ultima Atom 720 has a dual-tone design with a UV-coated finish. Its curved body gives the earbuds a distinctive appearance compared with more conventional TWS designs.

The earbuds use an open-fit/in-ear style, with the speaker portion designed to sit comfortably in the ear. The charging case has a compact, rounded shape that makes it relatively easy to carry.

Ultima offers the Atom 720 in two colors:

• Space Black

• Space Gold

13mm Dynamic Drivers

One of the main highlights of the Atom 720 is its 13mm dynamic drivers.

Ultima markets the earbuds around dynamic audio with deep bass and clear highs. The earbuds also provide two built-in EQ modes:

• Bass Mode

• Signature Mode

The Bass mode is designed for users who prefer stronger low-frequency sound, while Signature mode provides the standard sound profile.

The Atom 720 is therefore positioned toward listeners who enjoy bass-heavy music, videos, and everyday entertainment.

Environmental Noise Cancellation

The Atom 720 includes Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) with four microphones.

The microphone system is primarily intended to improve voice calls by helping reduce surrounding environmental noise. It is important to distinguish this from active noise cancellation: the Atom 720 does not have dedicated ANC for music listening.

This makes the Atom 720 different from Ultima's more expensive ANC models such as the Aura ANC.

Bluetooth 5.4 Connectivity

The Atom 720 uses Bluetooth 5.4, providing a modern wireless connection with compatible smartphones, tablets, and computers.

The earbuds support AAC and SBC audio codecs and have a transmission range of up to approximately 10 meters under suitable conditions. They are compatible with:

• Android

• iPhone/iOS

• Windows

• Other Bluetooth-enabled devices

The earbuds also support Ultima's pairing technology for quicker connection after opening the charging case.

Battery Life

Battery life is another important feature of the Atom 720.

The earbuds can provide up to around 6 hours of playback on a single charge, while the charging case extends the total claimed playback to up to 50 hours at 60% volume, depending on the specification version.

The earbuds use Type-C charging and support Ultima's 3C BOOST charging technology.

According to Ultima's published specifications, approximately 10 minutes of charging can provide up to 150 minutes of playback.

Low-Latency Gaming Mode

The Atom 720 includes a low-latency mode designed for mobile gaming.

Current specifications list latency around 50–55ms, depending on the product listing.

Lower latency can help reduce the delay between an action happening on the screen and the corresponding sound reaching your ears.

This feature can be useful for casual gaming, especially games where sound timing is important.

IPX4 Water Resistance

The earbuds have an IPX4 water-resistance rating.

This means the earbuds are designed to handle splashes and light exposure to water. However, IPX4 does not mean that the earbuds are waterproof or suitable for swimming.

The charging case does not have a separately specified IP rating in the available specifications.

Touch Controls

The Atom 720 uses touch controls on the earbuds.

Users can control common functions such as

• Play/pause

• Next track

• Previous track

• Answer calls

• End calls

• Voice assistant

The earbuds are also compatible with voice assistants such as Google Assistant and Siri.

Ultima Link App

The Atom 720 supports the Ultima Link companion application.

The app provides additional controls and customization options for supported Ultima earbuds. This gives users more control than basic TWS earbuds that operate only through physical or touch controls.

Is Ultima Atom 720 Worth Considering?

The Ultima Atom 720 is designed as a budget TWS option with a focus on large dynamic drivers, battery life, and everyday connectivity.
